Pissouri

Petra tou Romiou18kms east of Paphos is Petra tou Romiou (otherwise known as Aphrodite's Rock), which is widely believed to be the birthplace of Aphrodite. This imposing monolith is part of an incredibly scenic shoreline, which can be visited up-close or seen from a number of hilltop or roadside viewing platforms. Although there is little here to actually ‘do', this is a truly atmospheric place and definitely not one to visit without a camera.
