CYDIVE established in 1978 was the first PADI Dive Centre on the island. Becoming the first PADI 5 Star IDC Centre in March 1986 exposed CYDIVE as the leading Instructor Development Centre in Cyprus. By keeping on the top in diver and Instructor Training for 15 years, in December 2001, CYDIVE became the first PADI 5 Star Career Development Centre, the highest recognition in the diving industry, on the island and the Eastern Mediterranean. CYDIVE's top-quality IDC is conducted over a total of nine days in a purposely built IDC Classroom which is equipped with all the latest teaching aids such as computers, projectors and all available PADI materials. This allows you to focus and prepare on all the relevant subjects in a stress-free and relaxed environment
Practising with the latest teaching methodology in Knowledge Development, Confined and Open Water makes it easy and understandable in becoming a PADI Instructor.
After successfully completing the IDC and IE you will be a PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor. As a PADI Instructor you are part of an elite group of educators, teaching the world how to dive.
At the CYDIVE Instructor Training Academy and as a PADI 5* Career Development Centre we are offering Training and education to the highest industry standards.
As a CYDIVE IDC candidate we invite you for a free one week dive centre orientation. During that time you will be introduced into the day to day running of a busy diving centre. By working together in preparation for your IDC, we will offer a variety of Sales and Promotion programs. You also have the opportunity to participate in a compressor operating course resulting in being certified as a compressor operator.
