This beautiful reef is part of Airport Bay from where it takes its name, along the 200m stretch there are a series of amazing swim throughs and chimneys, gullies and perfect hiding spots for all sorts of marine life. This is a great dive site for all divers. Depth ranging from 3-12 meters.
Throughout this dive site hidden beneath Moulia Island there are a number of caves to explore; one of which has an amphora encrusted roof.
A team of American archaeologists investigated this site and believe that it is due to the movement of the sea bed over many, many years (2 thousand to be a little more precise). This dive site is regularly visited by Sea Bream, Damsel fish, various species of Wrasse, Brittle Stars, Moray eel and Octopus.
We meet at our comfortable and well equipped diving centre where our friendly and helpful PADI professionals will begin with an interesting and informative dive briefing. Unless you have your own diving gear, all equipment is supplied by us. We spend a few minutes checking your sizes and will fit you with the suitable gear. All of our diving equipment is well maintained and serviced regularly to ensure your safety and comfort.
When everyone is ready we will take a short walk to the Paphos harbour where we will board one of our Cydive boats. The journey from the harbour to Airport Reef takes around 20 minutes by boat and then just 10 minutes to the second dive site Amphorae caves.
Once you have completed your dive you will be served complimentary fresh fruit and refreshments on the boat before returning to our diving centre where our PADI professionals will de-brief you and help you to complete your log books.
We provide free transfers from/to your hotel from all hotels in the Paphos area.
