Sea Caves

Sea Caves

Sea caves is an amazing dives site in a beautiful location, this dive sites has all the caves you could ask for and more! This dive is one of the shallowest that we have, with depths between 3-12m.

This dive can be done either form the shore or from the boat. The walk down to the dive site is quite steep due to building work on the cliffs above.

The anchor point or beginning of this dive starts at a rock reef around 3-8m. From there you will head straight out in the direction of the open sea towards the swim throughs. The most interesting features of this dive site is an incredible series of swim-throughs and gullies. One of the largest caverns is so big it actually hides the entrance to another cave inside it. Drop down through a hole in the floor to find the second hidden cave with a huge open exit. As you exit the large cave you will look back around towards the shore and find another entrance to a tunnel with a sandy bottom. Amongst the caves is a wreck of an old motor bike which still has functioning pedals and buttons. If you find this hidden treasure be sure to take a photo!

The most common marine life on this dive site are Wrasse. Wrasse are beautifully coloured and curious fish which are drawn to clicking noises or disturbances in the sand. Due to the nature of the dive site you may be lucky enough to find octopus hiding in the rocks.
