ECO Snorkeling – Adults (12yr+)
Looking to do something a little different on this holiday? Join us on an ECO Snorkeling adventure! Not only will you have a fantastic time snorkeling but you will also learn about Mediterranean marine life and basic snorkeling skills.
Every guest that participates in this program will be helping in a national project to monitor shallow reefs and aquatic life.
During this program you will receive a briefing from a PADI Professional that will include information about basic snorkelling techniques and Mediterranean marine life. The snorkelling techniques will include how to effectively clear a snorkel and how to duck down below the surface. You will also be given a briefing on the marine life you are looking for, how to identify which species is which and how to record the data.
Each participant will receive a bag with mask, snorkel, fins. Included in this pack is an underwater slate with pencil designed specifically for this program.
Your guide will help you to adjust your mask and snorkel to fit you perfectly and take you on a tour of the marine park. During the tour you will note all of the marine life that you see by species, including a range of fish and possibly even turtles!

(We require a minimum of 6 participant for this activity to go ahead. If the minimum number is not reached then the activity will not go ahead.)
Information
Medical
Each participant is required to complete a medical questionnaire prior to starting any in-water activities. Unfortunately conditions such as epilepsy, pneumothorax, and lung conditions are not able to dive under any circumstances. For more information view the medical questionnaire or please contact us.
Diving and altitude
There must be a minimum of 24 hours between surfacing from a dive and ascending to altitude or flying.
Refund and Cancellation policy

The Centre reserves the right to change dive sites without notice, due to weather, safety, or suitability on the day.

Any missed dive once on board will not be refunded.

All divers must be medically fit to dive and if in doubt, have a yes on their medical form must obtain a GP approval.

All divers must have dived within 12 months to book a boat/shore dive or day trip. If they have not dived within 12 months a refresher will be needed prior to booking.

If a customer is late for the activity, then the activity will continue excluding them and no refund will be offered.
- Course and activity fees cannot be refunded if the program is not completed due to the decision of the participant.
