Open Water to Divemaster is an amazing program which allows you to completely change your lifestyle and make the ocean your office! This package will work on the certification that you already have and work towards the first level of teaching.
This package is great value for money and includes everything you will need to make your dream a reality. It has been created to give you the best underwater experience and allow you to expand your knowledge and experience. Our comprehensive program will allow you to develop the skills and attitude needed to become a PADI Professional.
You are about to enter into a new and exciting career which will allow you to travel to new places, meet like-minded people and do things you never imagined possible!
Recreational Training
You will begin your training with the PADI Advanced Open Water which opens up new aspects of diving. It also allows you to explore into areas that interest you such underwater photography or wreck diving! During your Rescue and Emergency Frist Responder training you will learn how to spot signs of panic and how to bring a diver to shore. You will also learn signs and symptoms of injuries which can occur within diving and how to treat them.
Once you reach this stage you will have a good understanding of dive skill and knowledge. So now it’s time to spend a little more time on the diving skills you enjoy or want to refine. This package includes 5 specialities in the following areas; Deep Diver, Wreck Diver, Enriched Air Diver, Navigation and Peak Performance Buoyancy. After completing your 5 specialties you will have achieved the highest recreational certification- Master Scuba Diver!
Professional Training
Get ready to become a PADI Professional!
The Divemaster course consists of a 4 week program where you will begin to explore the teaching aspects of diving. You will learn to guide certified divers, conduct refresher programs and assist on courses. Throughout this course you will get to experience a wide range of dive locations. Some will be just to gain experience and have fun and others as part of a workshop or teaching experience.
Following your Divemaster certification you will be able to spend some time as an intern! You will work with our team and participating in programs, putting your new experience to use! By the end of this internship you will have increased your confidence, built up a tool box of methods for helping and assisting divers and logged close to 100 dives.
Knowledge Development
For a majority of your courses the theory is completed online using the PADI eLearning products. These products will all be allocated at the beginning of the program so you can take your time to absorb the information and make sure you have a solid understanding. This will mean that when you’re at Cydive with the team, all of the time is spent in the water!
(Standard manual will be used for Emergency First Responder and Specialties.)
By the time you reach the end of this package you will have:
- 10 certifications
(Advanced Open Water, Rescue Diver, Emergency First Responder, 5 Specialties, Master Scuba Diver and Divemaster)
- Close to 100 logged dives
- 3 months experience within the dive industry
All of this for just €2700.00!
Course Prerequisites:
- Must be able to swim at least 400m and float comfortably
- Must be at least 18 years old before starting the Divemaster course
- Be medically fit to dive (if unsure please message us directly for the PADI medical)
Package details
The duration of this internship is 3 month and is inclusive of all certifications and training.
This price includes all training costs, equipment rental during the 3 month period, PADI materials for each course (manual/eLearning) and certification fees.
This price does not include PADI Divemaster fees (paid directly to PADI), cost of a medical examination, accommodation or food/drinks.
To confirm your booking, you will need to make a deposit of 30% (non-refundable) at least 1 month prior to the start date of the course. Deposits can be made via cash, card, bank transfer or PayPal. Please contact us directly for details. ELearning products will be allocated following the deposit.
Full payment will need to be made, at the latest, on arrival at the dive centre.
In case the training should be interrupted for medical or other kind of emergencies, you will received a credit equal to the remaining training. This can be used for other service at the centre or you will be given the opportunity to resume training within 12 months of the last listed date.

Information
Medical
Each participant is required to complete a medical questionnaire prior to starting any in-water activities. Unfortunately conditions such as epilepsy, pneumothorax, and lung conditions are not able to dive under any circumstances. For more information view the medical questionnaire or please contact us.
Diving and altitude
There must be a minimum of 24 hours between surfacing from a dive and ascending to altitude or flying.
Refund and Cancellation policy

The Centre reserves the right to change dive sites without notice, due to weather, safety, or suitability on the day.

Any missed dive once on board will not be refunded.

All divers must be medically fit to dive and if in doubt, have a yes on their medical form must obtain a GP approval.

All divers must have dived within 12 months to book a boat/shore dive or day trip. If they have not dived within 12 months a refresher will be needed prior to booking.

If a customer is late for the activity, then the activity will continue excluding them and no refund will be offered.
- Course and activity fees cannot be refunded if the program is not completed due to the decision of the participant.
