PADI Diver Propulsion Vehicle Specialty- Explore more of your favourite dive sites with guaranteed hours of fun whizzing around the underwater world!
Diver Propulsion Vehicles, otherwise known as underwater scooters are a great addition to any dive! On this course you will learn how to dive with this fantastic piece of kit and all the benefits that come along with it. Diving with a DPV allows you to cover a larger area which means plenty more to explore! Part of this course is the preparation of the DPV and how to safely plan the dives. Run through a series of skills which teaches you all you need to know about scooting around beneath the waves!
This course is perfect for divers which become easily over exerted, or struggling with finning.
During your PADI DPV course you will learn:
- How to maintaining your DPV.
- The best way to plan dives, including procedures for staying with your buddy.
- DPV-handling skills, such as making proper descents and ascents.
- Potential problems and ways to deal with them.
This course includes the PADI Diver Propulsion Vehicle Specialty eLearning, DPV rental fees and certification fees.

Information
Medical
Each participant is required to complete a medical questionnaire prior to starting any in-water activities. Unfortunately conditions such as epilepsy, pneumothorax, and lung conditions are not able to dive under any circumstances. For more information view the medical questionnaire or please contact us.
Diving and altitude
There must be a minimum of 24 hours between surfacing from a dive and ascending to altitude or flying.
Refund and Cancellation policy

The Centre reserves the right to change dive sites without notice, due to weather, safety, or suitability on the day.

Any missed dive once on board will not be refunded.

All divers must be medically fit to dive and if in doubt, have a yes on their medical form must obtain a GP approval.

All divers must have dived within 12 months to book a boat/shore dive or day trip. If they have not dived within 12 months a refresher will be needed prior to booking.

If a customer is late for the activity, then the activity will continue excluding them and no refund will be offered.
- Course and activity fees cannot be refunded if the program is not completed due to the decision of the participant.
