Description

PADI Enriched Air Diver

PADI Enriched Air Diver specialty teaches you how to dive with a higher blend of oxygen in your cylinder. Planning dives using Nitrox needs a little more attention and this is exactly what your PADI instructor will teach you.

Throughout the course you will learn about the different blends of oxygen and air available to divers.  Each blend allows you to dive to different depths and learning to keep within these limits is a key skill. As an Enriched Air diver you will learn how to decide which blend is best for your desired dives and how to plan those dives.

Practice analysing your cylinder before each dive in order to plan the dive effectively and safely with your instructor. The best part about using enriched air nitrox is that it extend your no stop limits which mean more time for exploring. This sure does go hand in hand with the wreck specialty!

During your course you will:

  • Discuss with your instructor how to manage oxygen exposure.
  • Look at the limits of Enriched Air/Nitrox diving.
  • Practice analyzing oxygen content in your scuba tank and how to properly log the information.
  • Set your dive computer for diving with enriched air and learn to stay within the limits.

This course includes the PADI Enriched Air eLearning and certification fees.

Integrate the nitrox specialty into your PADI Advanced Open Water Course!
