PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy

PADI Peak performance buoyancy or as its known to divers, PPB, is key whenever you’re diving. This specialty will teach you everything you need to know!

On this course you will master your buoyancy which will benefit you in many ways. Firstly you will be helping to protect the underwater environment by reducing damage to the sea bed. Better buoyancy also reduces your air consumption over time and reduces your physical effort when diving.

Cover some basic theory which will give you the knowledge you need to master weighting yourself for the dive equipment you’ll be using. Go through all kinds of skills like hovering and trim in order to achieve your most comfortable diving position. The skills you will learn on this course will help you on every dive you do as you’ll know all you can about buoyancy control.

During your course you will learn how to:

  • Determine the exact weight you need, so you’re not too light or too heavy.
  • Trim your weight system and scuba gear so you’re perfectly balanced in the water.
  • Streamline to save energy, use air more efficiently and move more smoothly through the water.
  • Hover effortlessly in any position – vertical or horizontal.

This course includes the PADI Peak Performance Buoyancy eLearning and certification fees.
