The blue lagoon offers incredible crystal clear waters, and is surrounded by luscious green landscapes. Grab your mask and snorkel and dive into the water to explore everything the blue lagoon has to offer!
This is a great location for snorkeling, bring your mask and snorkel and jump in!
To join us as a snorkeler all participants must have an adequate swimming ability and be able to swim without a float.
The Blue Lagoon is made up of mesmerising white sand, shallow reefs and luscious turquoise water.
Snorkeling around the reef you will see schools of fish, star fish settle on the rocks and often flounders laying in the sand.
This location is included as part of our Akamas and Blue Lagoon day trip.
We will stop in the lagoon for the surface interval as well as to have a light lunch made up of great local food.
Theres no route at this location!
We would advise to stick close to the rock reef as this is where most of the fish and other marine animals tend to be.
BE AWARE – the blue lagoon is a great place for snorkeling but there is also a lot of boat which are entering the lagoon and parking. Be sure to keep an eye on boat traffic and avoid leaving the lagoon.
Sea Bream are the most common species found at this dive site.
Damsel fish can be seen in large schools floating above the reef in warm patches of water. In the summer months you can spot the juvenile damsel fish, which are neon purple in colour, hiding in the rocks.
