PADI Wreck Diver specialty!
The PADI Wreck Diver Specialty course is popular because it offers rewarding adventures while observing responsible wreck diving practices. Some of the most sensational dives are done on wrecks.
During the Wreck specialty you will learn how to plan and execute dives on them. Being able to identify hazards will not only make your dives safer but also create confidence. Map the wreck pointing out key features, points of interest and penetration areas. Along with all this you’ll learn how to deploy a penetration lines on the outside of the wreck and how to use them effectively. This will help to prepare you for when you’re planning a penetration dive. For the final part of the course you’ll combine the skills you’ve learned and execute them on the final dive.
Each wreck dive offers a chance for discovery, potentially unlocking a mystery or spying something others have missed. Learn how to safely explore and map them, the tools the equipment, the information, and especially the planning of a wreck dive are the topic of this course, to guarantee you a safe exploration and an enjoyable experience.

During your course you will learn:
- Safety considerations for navigating and exploring wrecks.
- Surveying and mapping a wreck.
- Using penetration lines and reels to guide exploration.
- Techniques to avoid kicking up silt or disturbing the wreck and its inhabitants.
This course includes the PADI Wreck Diver Specialty eLearning and certification fees.
Information
Medical
Each participant is required to complete a medical questionnaire prior to starting any in-water activities. Unfortunately conditions such as epilepsy, pneumothorax, and lung conditions are not able to dive under any circumstances. For more information view the medical questionnaire or please contact us.
Diving and altitude
There must be a minimum of 24 hours between surfacing from a dive and ascending to altitude or flying.
Refund and Cancellation policy

The Centre reserves the right to change dive sites without notice, due to weather, safety, or suitability on the day.

Any missed dive once on board will not be refunded.

All divers must be medically fit to dive and if in doubt, have a yes on their medical form must obtain a GP approval.

All divers must have dived within 12 months to book a boat/shore dive or day trip. If they have not dived within 12 months a refresher will be needed prior to booking.

If a customer is late for the activity, then the activity will continue excluding them and no refund will be offered.
- Course and activity fees cannot be refunded if the program is not completed due to the decision of the participant.
