1st Dive of the Summer Season 2020

For our first dive of the summer season, we went on a 2-tank dive to Vera-K and Amphorae Caves, what a fantastic day it was!

On our departure from the Paphos harbour we spotted a green turtle on its morning swim which added anticipation to our already exciting day.  The first dive of the day took place at Vera-K which is one of our favourite local wrecks. This dive is great for all divers and after months without diving there seemed to be an abundance of marine life. Great weather means that we had good surface conditions, visibility of up to 20 metres and a water temperature of 19 degrees.

On the way to our second dive site we enjoyed lots of fresh fruits and pastries whilst conducting the next dive and safety briefing.

As we made our descent into the next dive site, Amphora Caves. We noticed the arrival of Luminescent Jellyfish, a strange but magnificent sight. We made our way around following the rock reef and ascending through a chimney encrusted with forgotten amphorae.
